    Parts of Medicare

Understanding the different parts of Medicare is the first step to finding the right coverage for your healthcare needs.

    Parts A + B

    Hospital & Medical Insurance

Part A covers inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facilities, hospice, and home health care. Part B covers doctor visits, outpatient care, durable medical equipment, and preventive services.

    Part C

    Medicare Advantage

An alternative to Original Medicare from private companies that bundles your hospital, medical, and most prescription drug coverage into one convenient plan. Instead of shopping different insurance companies on your own, I can look at most carriers in your area side-by-side to find the perfect fit for your budget and lifestyle.

    Part D

    Drug Coverage

Helps cover the cost of your medications. You only need this standalone plan if you have Original Medicare or a Medigap policy. If you choose a Medicare Advantage plan, your drug coverage is already bundled inside, so you can skip this entirely!

    Medicare Supplement

    Also Known as Medigap

Designed to step in and pay the 20% gap left behind by Original Medicare. This path requires a higher, predictable monthly premium upfront—but in exchange, it gives you the ultimate freedom to see any Medicare doctor in the country. I can map out the plans available to you so you get maximum protection without the homework.

    Eligibility & Enrollment

What is Medicare? Medicare is health insurance for people 65 or older. You may be eligible earlier if you have a disability, ESRD, or ALS.

Signing Up: Some get Medicare automatically, others must actively sign up depending on Social Security benefits. The Initial Enrollment Period begins three months before your 65th birthday month and ends three months after.

Signing up during this seven-month window helps avoid gaps in coverage and potential penalties.
